fitting's made of stainless steel -- does that hold up decent in wet or high-humidity environments, or is it gonna rust out on me after a season or two?

got a hose that takes a -6 fitting, is this one the right dash size or am i off a size

For hose sizing, it matches a -6 hose dash size. On the port side, it has a 0.375 inch male pipe NPT (MPT) end, so it is meant to thread into a matching female NPT port.
