The SBV11-10-C Series 2-Way, 2-Position, Normally Closed Solenoid Cartridge Valve, Housing: None, Coil: Not Included from Danfoss Power Solutions is a reliable choice for mobile and industrial applications, including harvesters and refuse haulers. This solenoid valve features a compact and economical design, able to withstand pressures of up to 350 bar (5000 psi) and flow rates of up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm).

The direct-acting valve operates to block flow in both directions when de-energized, allowing flow in both directions when energized. It is constructed from hardened and ground steel for durability. Standard internal leakage is controlled at a maximum of 5 drops per minute at 5000 PSI.

Installation is simplified thanks to its screw-in cartridge type, and it's designed with Buna-N seals for optimal performance. The recommended filtration level is 18/16/13 microns, ensuring clean operation. Please note, a steel housing or manifold is required for pressures exceeding 3000 PSI.

Coils and housing are sold separately, with the required cavity size being C-10-2. Operating temperature ranges from -40deg;F to 212deg;F.

Will this valve work okay in a hydraulic system on a cotton picker?

It's a good fit for mobile equipment like harvesters, so it should do the job. Just be sure your system's pressure doesn't go over 5000 PSI, and that you have a steel housing if you are above 3000 PSI.
