Question by: Tammy M on Jan 17, 2026, 10:31 AM
what's the fluid temperature range on this inlet cover? running standard buna-n seals and want to make sure we're good before we swap it in
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 18, 2026, 11:47 AM
With the standard Buna-N seals, fluid temperature needs to stay between -4°F and 176°F. As long as your system runs inside that window, you're good to go. If you're seeing temps outside that range on a regular basis, you'd want to look at a different seal option, but for most mineral oil setups running at normal operating temps, these seals hold up fine.
Question by: Darryl W on May 11, 2025, 4:36 PM
what's the max pressure this thing'll handle running a parallel circuit setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 12, 2025, 4:52 PM
For parallel or tandem circuit configurations, the SD16 handles up to 4600 PSI. If you're running a series circuit instead, that ceiling drops to 3050 PSI. Worth knowing before you spec it in, since the difference is significant depending on how your system is laid out.

What kind of hydraulic systems will this inlet cover work with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2025, 10:45 AM
This inlet cover is made for both open and closed center hydraulic systems, so it should fit a pretty wide range of setups.
