This valve supports both open and closed center systems and can be tailored with up to 12 sections. Featuring a main pressure relief valve and load check valve on each section, it ensures reliability and safety under high pressure. The unit accommodates a flow rating of 63 GPM and operates efficiently within a pressure range of up to 4600 PSI for parallel circuits and 3050 PSI for series circuits.

Operating in ambient temperatures from -40°F to 140°F, this valve is adaptable for various industrial environments. Its versatility is further enhanced by interchangeable spools and multiple control options, including manual, pneumatic, and electro-hydraulic controls. The SD25 Series valve is engineered for durability, withstanding fluid temperatures from -4°F to 176°F when using standard Buna-N seals, and offers minimal internal leakage.

What's the max pressure this valve section can handle, and does it change depending on how the circuit's set up?

Pressure ratings do differ based on circuit configuration. Running a parallel circuit, you're looking at up to 4600 PSI. Drop it into a series circuit and that ceiling comes down to 3050 PSI. Either way, back pressure on the outlet port T tops out at 360 PSI, so that's worth keeping in mind when you're sizing the rest of your system.

Motor spool type 2 is a work section spool setup intended for running a hydraulic motor, not a cylinder. In a sectional SD25 valve, the spool choice controls how flow is metered and how the A and B work ports behave in neutral and during shifting, which is why Walvoil offers interchangeable spools for different functions.
