Question by: Hugh R on Jun 11, 2025, 2:23 PM
What's the max pressure this valve can handle, and is 3600 PSI enough for most loader or log splitter setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 7:27 AM
At 3600 PSI max operating pressure, this valve covers the working range of most compact loader, log splitter, and general farm equipment hydraulic circuits without issue. Keep in mind that the outlet port T has a separate back pressure limit of 360 PSI, so your return line setup needs to stay within that. Flow is rated at 12 GPM, which fits a good portion of small to mid-sized systems just fine.
Question by: Gene G on Apr 22, 2025, 6:22 AM
got a small power unit that does about 10 to 12 gpm. is this SD4 valve in the right flow range or am i gonna choke it down
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 24, 2025, 6:28 AM
For flow, the SD4 series is rated at 12 GPM, so a 10 to 12 GPM setup is right in its intended range.
