Description & Features

Designed for open and closed center hydraulic systems, the SD6 Series Walvoil SD6 RE/RK Power Beyond/Closed CE is a sectional directional control valve configured with a power beyond/closed outlet cover. The SD6 Series supports one to twelve sections and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 4,600 PSI in parallel or tandem circuit configurations, or 3,050 PSI in series circuit use.

Each work section includes a load check valve, and a main pressure relief valve is standard. Compatible control options span manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, solenoid, and cable actuation, with interchangeable spools for configuration flexibility. The fluid temperature range runs from -4°F to 176°F with standard Buna-N seals, and the valve accommodates a flow rating of 12 GPM. Recommended filtration is ISO 4406 19/16.

what's the max pressure this valve handles runnin a parallel circuit setup?

Running parallel or tandem, the SD6 tops out at 4600 PSI. If you're on a series circuit though, that number drops to 3050 PSI. Worth knowing before you spec it in, since the circuit type makes a real difference on the pressure ceiling.
