The Sectional/Monoblock Directional Valve by Walvoil Fluid Power Corp. is engineered for demanding hydraulic systems. Designed for both open and closed center hydraulic systems, this sectional valve is simple, compact, and robust, accommodating from 1 to 12 sections.
Featuring a main pressure relief valve and a load check valve on every work section, it ensures reliable performance. The valve offers parallel, tandem, or series circuits, with an optional power beyond port. It is available with manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, solenoid, or cable controls.
The Walvoil SD6 Series valve can handle a flow rating of 12 GPM and operates efficiently within a fluid temperature range of -4deg;F to 176deg;F. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 4600 PSI for parallel or tandem circuits and 3050 PSI for series circuits. The valve design minimizes internal leakage to 0.18 insup3;/min at 1450 PSI differential pressure and can withstand a maximum back pressure of 360 PSI on the outlet port T.
Recommended filtration adheres to ISO 4406 19/16 standards, ensuring optimal fluid quality. Performance data is based on mineral oil with a viscosity of 215 SSU at 104deg;F.

Question by: Phil J on May 7, 2025, 7:23 PM
got a SD6 valve and the handlever on it is bent, is this the AL01 with M10 x 1.50 threads?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 9, 2025, 1:30 PM
This part is labeled as a Walvoil SD6 Series handle lever, type AL01 with an M10 x 1.50 thread. If your SD6 setup uses that AL01/M10x150 lever style, it matches the spec called out here.
Question by: Roy S on Nov 12, 2025, 7:49 PM
got a setup running a series circuit and just need to make sure about the max pressure rating before I put it on. what can this valve handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 14, 2025, 5:49 PM
Depending on your circuit layout, the maximum operating pressure shifts. Series circuits max out at 3,050 PSI, while parallel or tandem configurations can safely handle up to 4,600 PSI.
Question by: Patty J on Jan 15, 2026, 6:32 AM
what's the max pressure this valve can handle runnin a parallel circuit setup
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 17, 2026, 6:36 AM
For parallel or tandem circuits, the SD6 Series tops out at 4600 PSI operating pressure. If you're running a series circuit instead, that limit drops to 3050 PSI. Worth knowing going in so you're not pushing it past its rated range.
