The WALVOIL SDS150 (YG3) Main Relief Valve part of the Walvoil SD8 Series is designed for open and closed center hydraulic systems. This durable compact sectional valve can be configured in 1 to 12 sections providing flexibility for various industrial applications. It includes a main pressure relief valve and a load check valve for each working section ensuring reliable performance.

The valve supports a flow rating of 21 GPM and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40deg;F to 140deg;F. Fluid compatibility spans temperatures between -4deg;F and 176deg;F when using standard Buna-N seals. Operating pressures can reach up to 4600 PSI with a maximum back pressure of 360 PSI on the outlet port.

Optional features such as power beyond ports and diverse control methodsmdash;including manual pneumatic hydraulic electro-hydraulic solenoid or cablemdash;add to its versatility. The valve also features interchangeable spools and is constructed to handle fluid viscosities ranging from 80 to 400 SSU.

Providing internal leakage of 0.18 insup3;/min at a differential pressure of 1450 PSI the valve ensures efficient operation. Recommended filtration for optimal performance aligns with ISO 4406 19/16 standards.

what's the max pressure this valve can handle, and is it gonna hold up running a closed center system pretty regular?

Upper limit on operating pressure is 4600 PSI, and back pressure on the outlet port tops out at 360 PSI. Closed center systems are fully supported alongside open center setups, so you're not asking it to do anything outside its design. Flow rating comes in at 21 GPM, which covers a solid range of working conditions in standard industrial applications.

got a hydraulic setup that can run open center or closed center. does this SDS150 inlet cover work either way?
