Description & Features

Application	SDCF valves combine the features of a 4-way directional control valve, a full range pressure compensated by-pass type flow control valve and a pilot operated pressure relief valve all in one compact package. Flow to the work port is directly proportional to the movement of the lever. Flow out of each work port is constant regardless of load changes. The tank port must be plumbed directly back to tank.
Features	Full range pressure compensated bypass type flow control valve is built in. Pilot operated relief valve is standard. Fine positive metering in either direction. Precision ground chrome plated spool for long life.
Flow Rating	18 GPM.
Materials	Cast iron body. Buna-N O-Rings. Chrome plated steel spool.
Maximum Operating Pressure	3000 PSI.
Recommended Filtration	30 Micron.

Is this valve okay for continuous use or is it more for intermittent operation?

These SDCF series valves are built with a cast iron body and a chrome-plated steel spool, so they're durable enough for demanding applications. Just be sure to stay within the 3000 PSI pressure and 18 GPM flow rating.
