Sensors for HPM Series Pressure Transducer SR-PTN-400-05-0C-CAN | FT10649-400

Description & Features

The SR-PTN-400-05-0C-CAN is a CAN-bus pressure sensor designed for use with Webtec HPM Series data loggers, enabling pressure measurement within hydraulic test and monitoring systems. Rated to 400 bar (5800 psi) with an accuracy of ±0.5% full scale, it suits demanding measurement tasks where reliable pressure data is essential.

The sensor connects via an M16 x 2 test point port and uses an M12 5-pin Code A electrical connector, drawing power from a 7 to 15 V DC supply. Its stainless steel body and fully wetted stainless steel internals, paired with FKM seals, support compatibility with mineral oils to ISO 11158. A fluid temperature range of -25 to 105 °C (-13 to 221 °F) and an IP54 rating make it suitable for a range of hydraulic service environments. At just 0.16 kg, the unit is compact and straightforward to integrate.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Shane A on Nov 22, 2025, 12:28 PM
what's the max pressure this sensor handles, and is that enough for most hydraulic test work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 24, 2025, 11:36 AM
Rated to 400 bar (5800 psi), it covers the majority of industrial hydraulic test applications without issue. Accuracy comes in at ±0.5% of full scale, so readings stay tight across the range. The M16 x 2 test point porting is a common standard on hydraulic circuits, which makes connecting it straightforward in most shop and field setups.
