Description & Features

Rated at 1.20 cu in/rev displacement and up to 3,200 RPM, this single-configuration gear pump is built for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The Eaton Char-Lynn Series 26 Gear Pump features a 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange, a 9-tooth SAE A splined shaft, and side-ported connections, SAE-16 inlet and SAE-10 outlet, making it a practical fit for tractors, lift trucks, fan drive systems, steering circuits, and similar work circuit applications.

Thirteen-tooth gears minimize flow ripple for reduced noise and vibration, while the bearing lubrication system draws from inlet oil rather than high-pressure oil to support volumetric efficiency. The pump ships configured for clockwise rotation, but direction can be reversed in the field by reconfiguring internal components, no additional parts required. Operating temperature range spans -20°F to 220°F continuous, with a maximum inlet vacuum of 6.0 in. Hg and a pressure rating of 2,850 PSI.
