Description & Features

This Eaton Char-Lynn Series 26 gear pump is designed for demanding applications, including tractors and harvesters, machine tools, and steering circuits. Rotation may be reversed by reconfiguring internal parts, with no extra parts required.

Featuring 13-tooth gears to minimize flow ripple, this gear pump offers reduced noise and vibration and improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency. The bearing lubrication system uses inlet oil instead of high-pressure oil. It has a 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange, a 3/4 St.Keyed x 1-1/4 long shaft, an SAE-16 side inlet, and SAE-10 side outlet ports. The Series 26 Gear Pump has a displacement of 1.87 cu in/rev and a rated flow of 14.5 GPM at a rated speed of 3000 RPM.

got a setup that needs a 2-bolt SAE A mount and a 3/4 keyed shaft. is this pump the right footprint?

It matches a 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange and it uses a 3/4 straight keyed shaft that is 1-1/4 inches long. Porting is side inlet SAE-16 and side outlet SAE-10, so those connection sizes need to line up with your hydraulic connections too.

pump says CCW rotation, can that be swapped to run clockwise if I need it to?

the rotation on this pump can be reversed without buying any extra parts. You open it up, swap the drive gear and idler gear, reposition the plug, and put it back together. The wear plate design was built to make that process straightforward. Just make sure you know which direction your application needs before you button it up.
