Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton Series 3 6 and 12 Steering Control Units provide a robust solution for agricultural forestry construction turf care and industrial equipment.

Featuring a displacement of 29.7 cu in/rev and a flow range of 8-16 GPM these units deliver reliable performance with standard input torque. The 3/4-16 St.Thd O-Ring ports ensure secure connections and the units' non-load reaction design enhances efficiency. They include integral valves and a low-torque shaft seal optimizing fluid management and reducing maintenance.

The maximum system operating temperature is 200deg; F while the filtration level meets ISO 18/13 standards for cleanliness. These units are compatible with most petroleum-based fluids and ATF Type A ensuring versatility across various applications.

With a maximum back pressure of 300 PSI and return pressure rating of 10 PSI they are built to handle demanding environments. The internal involute spline with 12-tooth configuration supports durable mechanical interfaces.

got a tractor with hydro steering. what kinda flow does this steering unit want to see?

For flow, it is set up for an 8 to 16 GPM range, which is also listed as 45 LPM. That keeps it in the window the unit is meant to run in for normal steering performance.
