Question by: Rex J on Jan 25, 2026, 8:43 AM
Reckon this'll hold up okay in a hydraulic tank, or is it more for low-pressure setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 7:05 AM
It's rated for a maximum working pressure of 10 psi, so it’s best suited for low-pressure fluid monitoring applications.
Question by: Larry R on Sep 18, 2025, 6:13 AM
got a tank with a 3/4 NPT port, is this the kind of sight plug that’ll thread right in
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 19, 2025, 5:26 PM
Fit comes down to the thread, and this one is 3/4 NPT, so it’s meant to install into a matching 3/4 NPT threaded port for a straightforward screw-in connection.
Question by: Marvin M on Oct 10, 2025, 8:43 PM
what's the max pressure this sight plug can handle? got a low-pressure lube line i'm trying to put a sight glass on and don't want to overspec it
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 12, 2025, 6:03 AM
Ten PSI is the rated maximum working pressure on this one. For a low-pressure lube line that's right in the wheelhouse. The brass body and Buna-N seals are well suited for that kind of fluid monitoring duty, and the cork ball plus reflector give you a clear visual on fluid presence without any complicated setup.
