burst pressure on this one is 400 PSI -- that hold up alright for pressure washer use or is it cutting it close?

For pressure washer applications, 400 PSI burst pressure gives you a reasonable safety margin in most standard setups. Keep in mind that burst pressure is the failure point, not the working pressure, so your actual operating pressure should stay well below that ceiling.
