Running a -12 line on some construction equipment and need to know if this hose can hold up at 3000 PSI continuous. that the max or is there headroom built in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 6:48 AM
3000 PSI is the rated maximum operating pressure for this hose. At the -12 dash size, it uses a double wire braid reinforcement, which is what allows it to hold that pressure rating. For high-pressure oil lines on construction and off-highway equipment, that's exactly the kind of service this hose is built around. Just make sure your application stays within that ceiling and you're in good shape.

trying to swap out a worn hose, is this one the 3/4 inch line and what’s the outside size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 12, 2026, 6:25 AM
The inside diameter is 0.75 inch (dash size -12) and the outside diameter is 1.14 inch, so you can check clamp clearance and routing space with that.
Question by: Harold P on Jul 17, 2025, 1:42 PM
What kind of fluids can I run through this hose? I'm dealing with some pretty nasty stuff.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 19, 2025, 6:45 AM
This hose is designed for use with refined petroleum-based fluids. It's also suitable for general industrial and hydraulic systems that use petroleum and water-based fluids.
Question by: Vince K on Dec 2, 2025, 9:09 PM
running this on a 3/4 inch hydraulic line for a skid steer, will 3000 PSI be enough to handle regular loader work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 4, 2025, 7:12 PM
For standard skid steer loader circuits, 3000 PSI working pressure covers the operating range you'd see in most general-duty applications. The 0.75 inch inner diameter lines up with a -12 dash size, which is a common fit for that type of equipment. The hose runs petroleum-based hydraulic fluid without issue, so it's a solid match for that kind of work.

got a skid steer with a pretty tight hose run, how sharp can i bend this 3/4 line without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 12, 2025, 7:21 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 4.75 inches. Keeping your bends at or above that radius helps prevent kinking and protects the 2-ply wire braid reinforcement.
