Question by: Dean S on Oct 5, 2025, 5:52 PM
got a tank that takes 1/4 NPT, would this breather vent screw right in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 7, 2025, 7:42 AM
With a 1/4 NPT thread, it’s meant to fit ports tapped for 1/4 NPT, so it’s a straightforward screw-in style breather vent for that thread size.

Got a hydraulic reservoir that needs a breather on it, will a 1/4 NPT fitting work for threading this thing in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 19, 2026, 12:15 PM
Yeah, 1/4 NPT is exactly what this vent uses, so if your reservoir port matches that thread size you're good to go. It's a standard thread size that shows up pretty regularly on smaller hydraulic tanks and gearboxes, so there's a decent chance it'll drop right in without any adapters.
