Question by: Wade O on Jun 30, 2025, 7:28 AM
What kind of machines does this valve work with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 4:09 PM
It's good for presses, plastic molding, die casting, shears, balers, machine tools, metal forming, steel mill stuff, mobile vehicles, and marine applications.
Question by: Bobby S on Oct 6, 2025, 3:22 PM
what kind of seals does this cartridge valve use, and will they hold up in a greasy shop environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 6:12 AM
Buna-N seals are used throughout, which are a solid general-purpose choice for hydraulic systems running standard mineral-based fluids. They hold up well in industrial environments and are known for decent resistance to oils and moderate heat. The valve itself is built from alloy steel, so the body is not going to give you trouble in a tough shop setting. Just keep your fluid cleanliness at or better than 18/16/13 micron and you should get good long-term service out of it.
