The SPC1-10 Series Inline Single Pilot Operated Check Valve is engineered for high performance and reliability. Capable of handling pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) and a flow rate of 227 L/min (60 USgpm) this valve ensures robust operational efficiency.
Designed to accommodate SAE-4 pilot ports and 3/8" main ports it maintains low spring settings offering efficient flow management. The Buna-N seals provide excellent durability across extreme temperature ranges from -40F to 248F.
With a cracking pressure of 15 PSI and a flow rating of 12 GPM this valve's 4:1 pilot ratio makes it suitable for precise control applications. Recommended for use with ISO 4406 cleanliness level 18/16/13 or cleaner it assures optimal performance in demanding hydraulic systems.
Important considerations include using a 4-way control valve to apply unlocking pressure to the pilot circuit and ensuring the load is mechanically supported during maintenance. These valves are ideal for preventing movement in load-holding applications except where overrunning loads are possible or load release speed is critical.

got a cylinder that needs locked in position when the control valve goes neutral, does this valve actually hold without leaking, or is it just slowing things down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 6:10 AM
Lock valves like this one are built specifically for that job. When your control valve goes to neutral, the SPC1-10 blocks reverse flow from the cylinder with no intentional leakage path. It functions as a standard check valve in the free-flow direction, letting fluid into the cylinder, but it holds firm on the return side until pilot pressure is applied to release it. That said, the product notes are clear that this valve is not the right choice where overrunning loads are possible or where you need precise control over how fast a load releases. For straight load-holding on a stationary cylinder, it's well-suited to that application.
