SPC2-10 Series Single Pilot Operated Cartridge Check Valve, 25 PSI Cracking Pressure

Description & Features

The SPC2-10 Series Single Pilot Operated Cartridge Check Valve, 25 PSI Cracking Pressure by Danfoss (Power Solutions II LLC) is engineered for high-efficiency performance in demanding applications. The valve features a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI and a flow rating of 6 GPM, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions. It achieves superior operational efficiency with a temperature range of -4deg;F to 150deg;F.

Designed for applications requiring secure load holding, this check valve employs a 4:1 pilot ratio, facilitating effective pressure management in hydraulic circuits. The seal material, Buna-N, offers durable performance, while the recommended ISO 4406 cleanliness level of 18/16/13 or cleaner enhances longevity.

Its 25 PSI cracking pressure and low spring settings make this valve suitable for precise control tasks. The housing cavity size is C-10-3, and the cartridge model SPC2-10 is sold separately. The product excels in applications where leakage-free locking is critical, such as preventing load movement when the pressure source is inactive.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Scott B on Jul 3, 2025, 6:27 AM
what's the cracking pressure on this check valve
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 5, 2025, 6:01 AM
Operates at 25 PSI cracking pressure, which means it needs at least that much upstream pressure to open and allow flow through the valve.
Question by: Kent S on Dec 26, 2025, 12:49 PM
reckon this spc2-10 check valve with 25 psi cracking pressure will hold up in a standard setup
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 28, 2025, 6:02 AM
Cracking pressure at 25 PSI sets the threshold where the valve opens to allow flow, making it suitable for single pilot operated cartridge applications as noted for the Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton series.
