Din X Male Npt

Description & Features

Constructed from stainless steel, this straight hydraulic adapter connects a DIN tube fitting (M18 x 1.5 male) on one end to a 1/4" male NPT (1/4-18 NPTF) on the other. The stainless steel body offers good resistance to corrosion in demanding fluid conveyance and hydraulic system environments. Manufactured by Adaptall, the Din X Male Npt is a purpose-built solution for cross-standard connections where metric DIN tube interfaces meet inch-based NPT threaded ports.

Key dimensional references include a 19mm wrench width, an L1 length of 32mm, L2 of 10mm, and L3 of 15mm, providing a compact straight profile suited to space-constrained installations. The L12 DIN side designation corresponds to the M18 x 1.5 thread callout on Side 1, while the 1/4" NPT side accommodates standard NPTF-threaded ports commonly found in industrial hydraulic circuits and fluid control assemblies.

Question by: Frank S on Apr 28, 2025, 10:11 AM
got a din tube fitting that’s M18 x 1.5 on one side, will this adapter mate up to a 1/4" npt port on the other end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2025, 8:29 AM
For tying two thread standards together, it’s a straight stainless adapter with an M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube end on Side 1 and a 1/4-18 NPTF male end on Side 2, so it bridges a DIN tube interface over to a 1/4 inch NPTF threaded port.

Will this fit on my hydraulic setup with a 1/4" NPT port? Just want to make sure before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 6, 2025, 11:14 AM
It will fit any standard 1/4" NPTF-threaded port, which is what you typically find in industrial hydraulic circuits. The other side adapts to a DIN tube fitting (M18 x 1.5 male).
Question by: Roger H on Jul 7, 2025, 6:10 PM
Got a metric DIN tube side on my hydraulic manifold and need to tie into a quarter-inch NPT port on a valve block. This straight adapter gonna work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 9, 2025, 6:55 AM
That's what this fitting is built for. One end is M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube thread, the other is 1/4-18 NPTF male, so it bridges that metric-to-inch gap in a single piece. Stainless steel body means it holds up well in hydraulic fluid environments without corroding out on you. At 32mm long overall with a 19mm wrench flat, it fits into tighter spots without a whole lot of clearance needed.
