Ss Din X Male Npt Complete

Description & Features

Constructed from stainless steel, this straight hydraulic adapter connects a DIN tube end (M20 x 1.5 male) on one side to a 1/2"-14 NPTF male thread on the other, making it well suited for mixed-standard hydraulic assemblies where corrosion resistance is a priority. The straight profile keeps the connection compact and axially aligned.

The Adaptall SS5007S-12-08C is sized at S12 on the DIN side and 1/2" on the NPT side, with an overall length of 42mm (L1) and a 22mm wrench flat width for secure installation. Stainless steel construction supports use in harsh or corrosive environments where carbon steel fittings would be unsuitable.

Question by: Cheryl G on Feb 19, 2026, 3:35 PM
Will this here fitting hold up alright in a salty environment, like near the coast?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 21, 2026, 12:56 PM
Stainless steel construction makes this fitting suitable for use in harsh or corrosive environments where standard carbon steel wouldn't hold up. It's designed for applications where corrosion resistance is a key requirement.
Question by: Marvin H on May 10, 2025, 5:07 PM
What exactly is the thread setup on this fitting, one side metric, one side NPT?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 12, 2025, 2:01 PM
Correct on both counts. The DIN side runs M20 x 1.5 male, which is a metric thread commonly found on European-spec hydraulic components. The opposite end is a 1/2"-14 NPTF male, which ties into standard NPT ports used all over North American equipment. So if you're bridging a metric tube end over to an NPT port, this is the fitting that makes that connection without adapters stacked on adapters.
