both ends on this fitting are M36 x 2.0 DIN tube, right? just want to make sure I ain't mixing up the male and female sides before I go cutting lines

Both sides share the same M36 x 2.0 thread callout and S25 sizing, but they are not identical. Side one is male DIN tube and side two is female DIN tube. So you've got one of each, same thread spec on both, just opposite genders. Worth double-checking your existing connections before assembly so you're orienting the elbow the right direction from the start.
