Question by: Rex M on Mar 7, 2026, 7:11 AM
got a hose end that’s 1-1/2 BSPP male, will this screw onto it or am i mixing up the sides?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 3:43 PM
On this adapter, the BSPP side is male (G 1-1/2 - 11). The other end is also male, but it is 1-1/2 - 11.5 NPTF. Since both ends are male, it would not thread onto a male BSPP fitting without a female BSPP port or coupling on the other side.

Will this adapter hold up to some serious corrosion? I'm dealing with harsh chemicals daily.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 15, 2025, 9:34 AM
The stainless steel construction offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for demanding environments.

Got a BSPP line coming off a European hydraulic unit and need to tie it into a standard NPT fitting on the American side, this a straight male-to-male adapter or does it have some kind of reducer built in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 6:23 AM
Both sides on this one are 1-1/2 inch, so there's no size change happening. One end is male BSPP (G 1-1/2 - 11 thread) and the other is male NPTF (1-1/2 - 11.5). Straight through, same size, no reduction. If your BSPP port and your NPT fitting are both 1-1/2 inch, this connects them directly without any adapter stack or transition piece in between.
