SSF120/160 Series Spin-On Suction / Return Filter, 1-1/4 NPT Ports, 6.63 inch 10 Micron Nominal Paper Element, 15.00 PSI Bypass Spring

Description & Features

Experience optimal filtration with a high-strength die-cast aluminum head, ensuring durability and reliability. Designed for low-pressure return line applications on mobile and industrial equipment, it can also serve as a suction filter with an optional 3 or 5 PSI bypass spring. This filter includes all four machined and plugged indicator ports, providing comprehensive monitoring options. The 6.63 inch, 10 micron nominal paper element effectively captures contaminants, while the 15.00 PSI bypass spring ensures smooth operation under varying conditions. The lightweight die-cast aluminum head and Buna-N seals are compatible with petroleum-based fluids, making it versatile for diverse setups. Featuring a spin-on element for quick replacement, the filter supports a rated flow of 60 GPM. Optional visual and electrical condition indicators for advanced functionality are available, with elements in both nominal rated paper and absolute rated synthetic media.

Question by: Cody J on Oct 28, 2025, 4:59 PM
been running a return line setup on some mobile equipment and trying to figure out if this filter can keep up with the flow we're pushing through it. what's the rated GPM on this thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 30, 2025, 3:00 PM
Rated at 60 GPM for return line use, so it holds up well for most mobile and industrial setups running moderate to high flow. The 1-1/4 NPT ports keep hydraulic connections straightforward, and the spin-on element makes servicing quick when the time comes. Just keep in mind the maximum operating pressure is 200 PSI, so as long as your system stays within that, you're in good shape.
