Stainless 316 Mbspp X Mnpt

Description & Features

Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this straight hydraulic adapter connects a 3/8" male BSPP thread (G 3/8-19) on one end to a 1/2" male NPTF thread (1/2-14 NPTF) on the other, making it a reliable solution for cross-standard connections in hydraulic and industrial fluid systems. The stainless steel construction provides strong resistance to corrosion, making it well suited for demanding environments where carbon steel fittings would be inadequate.

The Stainless 316 Mbspp X Mnpt is an Adaptall product, manufactured to the brand's interchangeable fitting standards. With a straight profile, a length of 40.8mm, and a wrench width of 22mm, the fitting is compact and straightforward to install in tight assemblies. The BSPP-to-NPT configuration addresses a common interface requirement when connecting equipment or components built to different thread standards.

So this here fitting, it's stainless, right? How well does that hold up if it gets exposed to, say, chemicals or saltwater?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 9, 2025, 6:40 PM
Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this adapter offers strong corrosion resistance, making it suitable for environments where standard carbon steel fittings would corrode.
Question by: Hugh M on Jun 5, 2025, 12:52 PM
Got a piece of equipment with a 3/8 BSPP port and I need to tie it into a 1/2 NPT line, this fitting handle that crossover?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 7, 2025, 6:31 AM
That's exactly what it's built for. One end is a 3/8" male BSPP (G 3/8-19) and the other is a 1/2" male NPTF (1/2-14 NPTF), so it bridges that thread standard gap in a straight shot. The 316 stainless construction holds up well in environments where a standard carbon steel fitting would corrode out on you, and at 40.8mm long with a 22mm wrench flat, it fits into tighter assemblies without a lot of fuss.

got a pump with a G 3/8-19 port and the hose end i’ve got is 1/2-14 NPTF. is this the right little adapter to tie those together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 6, 2025, 7:17 AM
For that mix of threads, yes. One end is a 3/8 inch male BSPP (G 3/8-19) and the other end is a 1/2 inch male NPTF (1/2-14), so it is meant to bridge those two standards in a straight adapter.
