Got a '98 truck A/C line that's been leaking and I'm pretty sure the hose itself is shot. This a Aeroquip product, right? Does it run with the common refrigerants most systems are using?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 9, 2025, 6:22 AM
Eaton Aeroquip makes this one. The nylon inner tube is built to be compatible with common A/C refrigerants and system fluids, so it should hold up fine in a standard automotive A/C circuit. The 0.43-inch inner diameter puts it in the mid-range category for A/C line work, which covers a lot of typical underhood routing applications.

need an A/C hose that’ll hold up under the hood and not get chewed up, what’s special about this one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 11, 2025, 1:27 PM
Underhood A/C routing is what it’s built around, with a nylon inner tube for common automotive refrigerants and system fluids, plus a stainless steel braid on the outside that helps it keep its shape and adds abrasion resistance.
