This Stainless Steel Cam & Groove Adapter features a male half and a 1-inch female NPT connection. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this adapter is designed for use with liquids. Buna-N seals ensure a secure connection.

This cam and groove adapter interchanges with all products produced to standard A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828. (Note: No standard exists for 1/2” and 8” sizes, and these sizes generally do not interchange with other manufacturers.) It operates by sliding the adapter into the coupler and pressing down the cam levers. To uncouple, lift the cam arms and remove the adapter. Female couplers include lugs for attaching safety pins.

Wondering if this will hook up to a standard 1" female fitting I already have?

This adapter has a 1-inch female NPT connection, so it should connect to any standard 1" male NPT fitting.

got a 1 inch camlock coupler already, will this male adapter swap in with the usual cam and groove stuff?

Interchangeability is the main idea here. The adapter is made to interchange with cam and groove products built to A-A-59326 (which supersedes MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828, so it will mate with couplers made to those same standards.
