Constructed entirely from 316 stainless steel, body, cam levers, pins, rings, and safety clips, this 4-inch cam and groove coupling is built for demanding liquid-transfer applications where corrosion resistance matters. The Stainless Steel Cam & Groove Adapter, Male Half, 4 Inch Female NPT connects via a female NPT thread and is rated at 150 PSI, consistent with standard sizing in the half-inch through 4-inch range.

Coupling and uncoupling require only hand pressure: slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down to lock; lift the cam arms to release. The design conforms to standard A-A-59326 (superseding Mil-C-27487F) and Din 2828, ensuring interchangeability with other manufacturers' compliant fittings in this size range. Buna-N seals are included as standard. This fitting is intended for liquid service only, it is not rated for compressed air or steam.

Will this camlock work okay with standard cam groove fittings?

Interchangeability is a key feature; it fits any product made to A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 standards. Just note that the 1/2" and 8" sizes don't always play nice with other brands due to lack of a standard.
