The Cam & Groove Stainless Steel industrial hose fittings are crafted from high-grade 316 stainless steel ensuring durability and robust performance. This 1-1/2 Inch Dust Plug is precision-engineered for liquid applications providing secure and dependable connections.

Its designed for ease of use; the adapter slides into the coupler and cam levers secure it with normal hand pressure. Stainless steel cam levers pins rings and safety clips enhance reliability while Buna-N seals ensure a tight leak-free fit.

Interchangeability is guaranteed with products produced to A-A-59326 standards. Female couplers feature cast-in lugs for safety pins preventing unintended uncoupling. Pressure ratings are 150 PSI for sizes up to 4 inches and 75 PSI for larger sizes. Fitting attachment suggestions can be found in the hose section of this catalog.

trying to cap off a 1-1/2 camlock line when it’s not hooked up, is this the right piece for that

For keeping a 1-1/2 inch cam and groove connection closed off when it is not in use, this is the dust plug style. It is a 316 stainless body with a Buna-N seal, and it is intended for liquid service.

does this plug work with standard camlock couplers from other brands, or is it only gonna fit HSC stuff?

Any camlock fitting built to the A-A-59326 standard will mate up with this plug, so you're not locked into one brand. That standard replaced the old MIL-C-27487F spec and also covers DIN 2828, which means most industrial camlocks you'll run across in the field should be compatible. The 1-1/2 inch size falls right in the middle of the range where interchangeability is well established, so swapping between manufacturers at that size is generally a non-issue.
