Constructed entirely from 316 stainless steel, body, cam levers, pins, rings, and safety clips, this 6-inch hose shank coupler delivers corrosion resistance suited to demanding liquid transfer applications. The Stainless Steel Cam & Groove Coupler, Female Half, 6 Inch Hose Shank connects using a simple lever-action mechanism: slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down to couple; lift the arms to release. No tools required for either action.

Rated at 75 PSI for the 6-inch size, this fitting conforms to standard A-A-59326 (superseding Mil-C-27487F) and DIN 2828, ensuring broad interchangeability with other compliant manufacturers' products. Buna-N seals are included as standard. A safety clip feature is incorporated into the cam lever design, cast-in lugs accept safety pins that lock the coupler in the coupled position until deliberately removed, adding a layer of security in active transfer lines. Designed for liquid service only; not rated for compressed air or steam.

Got a transfer line running product that'll eat through aluminum fittings something fierce. This thing built to hold up, or is it more of a light-duty piece?

All wetted and structural components on this coupler are 316 stainless steel, including the body, cam levers, pins, rings, and safety clips. That grade of stainless handles corrosive liquid environments well, which is exactly what it's built for. Keep in mind it's rated for liquid service only, so compressed air and steam are off the table regardless of the fluid compatibility question. For liquid transfer in corrosive conditions, this is a solid choice.

got a 6 inch camlock setup already. will this female coupler swap with other brands or am i gonna be fighting fitment

Interchangeability is the point on this one. It is built to the A-A-59326 standard (the newer spec that replaced Mil-C-27487F) and also DIN 2828, so it will mate with other cam and groove parts made to those same standards.
