All Stainless Steel Constant Torque Clamp For 1-1/4 to 2 Inch Hose ID, 1.75 - 2.625 Inch Hose OD Range

Description & Features

Constructed entirely from stainless steel this constant torque clamp provides reliable performance in challenging environments. Designed for hose IDs ranging from 1-1/4 to 2 inches and capable of accommodating hose ODs from 1.75 to 2.625 inches it ensures a secure fit.

It features a 5/8-inch wide 304 stainless steel band a 304 stainless steel housing and 410 stainless steel Belleville spring washers and screw. The internal liner is engineered to protect soft or silicone hoses from damage extrusion and shear.

Its extended adjustment range of 7/8 inch O.D. allows for versatility making it ideal for sealed systems and hard-to-reach installations. The clamp compensates for "cold flow" and expansion/contraction due to temperature extremes.

The "Torque Check" feature provides visual confirmation of proper installation and it's recommended to use a torque wrench to achieve an installation torque of 90-125 inch pounds. The Constant-Torque clamp is properly tightened when the screw tip extends beyond the housing by approximately 1/4 inch and the Belleville washer stacks are nearly flat.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Jimmy C on Aug 27, 2025, 6:07 PM
Will this constant torque clamp work on silicone hoses without damaging them?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 1:24 PM
An internal liner is included to protect soft hoses like silicone from damage caused by extrusion or shear.
Question by: Gary P on May 29, 2025, 8:43 PM
what's the torque range for tightening this clamp down proper, and how do you even know when you've hit it right?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 31, 2025, 5:25 PM
Tightening torque runs between 90 and 125 inch pounds, and a torque wrench is the recommended way to get there reliably. Once it's properly set, the screw tip should stick out past the housing by around a quarter inch, and the Belleville washer stacks should be nearly flat. That visual check is built right into the clamp design so you're not just guessing at whether it's snug enough.
