TRIDENT Rubbers LLCs Stainless Steel Constant Torque Clamp offers unmatched reliability and longevity for hose connections. Compensating for "cold flow" and addressing expansion and contraction in extreme temperatures this clamp ensures a dependable seal. The 5/8 inch wide band and housing both crafted from 304 stainless steel paired with 410 stainless steel Belleville spring washers and screw provide superior durability.

With an internal liner it safeguards soft or silicone hoses from damage extrusion and shear. Featuring an extended adjustment range of 7/8 inch O.D. it's optimal for sealed systems and challenging installation points. The visual "Torque Check" feature aids in precise installation.

Proper tightening is achieved when the screw tip is fully extended beyond the housing by approximately 1/4 inch and Belleville washer stacks are nearly collapsed flat. A torque wrench is recommended for an installation torque of 90-125 inch pounds.

does this clamp work on silicone hose or will it chew it up like a regular worm gear clamp does
