Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this fitting is built for corrosion-resistant service in demanding hydraulic and fluid system environments. The Stainless Steel Adapter, 3/8-18 Female NPT To 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, 90 deg Elbow connects a female NPT port to a male JIC 37° flare fitting at a right angle, making it well-suited for routing lines in confined spaces where a straight adapter would not fit.
Manufactured by SSP Fittings Corp, this adapter transitions between the 3/8-18 NPT thread on one end and the 3/4-16 JIC 37° flare thread on the other. The 90-degree elbow geometry helps manage line direction changes cleanly within tight assemblies. The 316 stainless construction offers strong resistance to corrosion, making this fitting appropriate for aggressive media or washdown-intensive industrial settings.

Question by: Eddie M on Jun 2, 2025, 6:29 AM
trying to swap a straight fitting for an elbow, is this one 3/8-18 female NPT on one end and 3/4-16 male JIC 37 flare on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 3, 2025, 9:08 AM
Thread-wise, it is set up exactly that way: one side is 3/8-18 female NPT, and the other side is 3/4-16 male JIC with a 37 degree flare seat. It is a 90 degree elbow, so it changes direction at a right angle instead of staying straight.
Question by: Dean S on Jul 22, 2025, 10:25 AM
Got a tight spot on a hydraulic line where I can't run things straight out of the port. This the kind of fitting that'd let me turn the line 90 degrees right at a 3/8 NPT connection?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 23, 2025, 6:21 PM
For that exact situation, the 90-degree elbow geometry on this adapter is what you'd want. One end threads into a 3/8-18 female NPT port, and the other end gives you a 3/4-16 male JIC 37-degree flare to connect your line to. The right-angle body lets you redirect the hose or tube cleanly without fighting for clearance. It's built from 316 stainless, so it handles the kind of environments where a standard carbon steel fitting wouldn't last.
