Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this 45-degree elbow adapter connects a 1/8-27 male NPT thread to a 7/16-20 male JIC 37° flare, making it well-suited for hydraulic and fluid system assemblies where corrosion resistance and directional routing are required. The 45° elbow configuration allows lines to be redirected where space constraints or routing geometry would make a straight fitting impractical.
The Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/8-27 Male NPT To 7/16-20 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, 45 deg Elbow is manufactured by SSP Fittings Corp and carries catalog number C1CZ91. With a tube OD of 0.25 in. and compact overall dimensions, it is a practical choice for tight installations requiring a reliable transition between NPT and JIC connection standards. 316 stainless steel construction provides strong resistance to corrosion in demanding industrial environments.

Question by: Dale C on Apr 13, 2025, 1:37 PM
Got a fitting spot on a small hydraulic line that runs at a real awkward angle, would this 45-degree elbow help redirect it without having to reroute the whole line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 14, 2025, 7:57 PM
A 45-degree elbow is exactly the kind of fitting that saves you from tearing apart a whole assembly. Where a straight adapter would force the line to bend sharply or conflict with nearby hardware, the angled body lets the connection exit at a gentler offset. The NPT side threads into a port and the JIC 37-degree flare end connects to the line, so you get the thread transition and the directional change handled by one fitting instead of two.
