Constructed from stainless steel, this 45-degree elbow adapter connects a 1/4-18 Male NPT thread to a 9/16-18 Male JIC 37° flare, making it well suited for hydraulic lines and fluid systems where a directional change is needed at the fitting junction. The angled configuration helps route tubing in tight spaces without requiring additional bends in the line.
The Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/4-18 Male NPT To 9/16-18 Male JIC 37 Deg Flare, 45 Deg Elbow is manufactured by SSP Fittings Corp and carries catalog number C1DA42. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in demanding industrial environments. With a tube O.D. of 0.38 in., this fitting is compatible with standard 3/8 in. tube lines on the JIC side.

Question by: Vince H on Jan 12, 2026, 9:34 PM
Got a hydraulic line that needs to make a turn coming off a 1/4 NPT port and I don't have room for extra bends. This the kind of fitting that'd handle that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 14, 2026, 6:25 AM
Yeah, that's exactly what this one's built for. The 45-degree angle lets you redirect the line right at the fitting itself, so you're not fighting the tubing to make a turn downstream. One side threads into a 1/4-18 male NPT port, and the JIC end connects to 3/8 in. tube on a standard 9/16-18 male JIC 37-degree flare. Stainless steel construction holds up well in environments where corrosion is a concern, so it's a solid pick for tight-space routing on hydraulic and fluid systems.
Question by: Howard R on Apr 29, 2025, 9:13 PM
Will this fitting hold up if it's constantly exposed to hydraulic fluid?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 1, 2025, 11:13 AM
Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance, which makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments where it will be exposed to hydraulic fluids.
