Stainless Steel Adapter, 1-11-1/2 Male NPT To 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, 90 deg Elbow

Description & Features

Manufactured from 316 stainless steel by SSP Fittings Corp, this 90-degree elbow adapter connects a 1-11½ Male NPT thread to a 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37° flare thread. The 90° elbow configuration is well suited for installations where inline connections are impractical and routing must change direction within a confined space.

The Stainless Steel Adapter, 1-11-1/2 Male NPT To 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, 90 deg Elbow carries catalog number C1CZ49 and is part of SSP's pipe-to-37° flare stainless steel adapter series. 316 stainless construction provides reliable corrosion resistance in demanding hydraulic and fluid system environments. With a 1-inch tube OD and overall dimensions of 1.81 × 1.97 inches, this fitting is designed for direct replacement or new assembly use where both NPT and JIC connections must be bridged at a right angle.

Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Ricky H on Dec 7, 2025, 6:52 PM
Got a tight spot on a hydraulic line where I can't run things straight through, will this fitting let me bridge an NPT port over to a JIC hose end and make that 90-degree turn all in one piece?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 9, 2025, 6:13 PM
That's exactly what this adapter is built for. One end is a 1-11½ Male NPT thread and the other is a 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37-degree flare, and the whole thing is configured as a 90-degree elbow. So yeah, you're converting thread types and changing direction in a single fitting. Overall it measures 1.81 by 1.97 inches, so it's compact enough to work in tighter installs where a straight adapter just won't route cleanly.
Question by: Travis W on Aug 8, 2025, 3:26 PM
trying to swap out an elbow on a line, is this the one that goes from 1-11 1/2 male NPT over to 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 flare?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 9, 2025, 8:33 PM
On the ends, it matches that combo: one side is 1-11-1/2 male NPT and the other is 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, built as a 90 degree elbow adapter.
Question by: Clint F on Mar 7, 2026, 11:31 AM
Will this fitting hold up okay outside? I'm using it on some equipment that sits out in the weather year-round.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 9:29 PM
This adapter is made from 316 stainless steel, so it's quite corrosion resistant and should hold up well in demanding environments.
