Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/2-14 Male NPT To 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, Straight Bulkhead

Description & Features

Built from 316 stainless steel, this straight bulkhead adapter from SSP Fittings Corp connects a 1/2-14 Male NPT thread to a 3/4-16 Male JIC 37° flare interface in a single inline fitting. The bulkhead configuration allows the fitting to pass through a panel or wall, making it suited for instrumentation enclosures, fluid transfer panels, and hydraulic assemblies where lines must transition through a structure.

The Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/2-14 Male NPT To 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, Straight Bulkhead has an overall length of 2.34 inches and accommodates 0.5-inch tube O.D. on the flare side. 316 stainless steel construction provides resistance to corrosion and chemical exposure, making it appropriate for demanding fluid system environments where carbon steel fittings are not suitable.

got a 1/2-14 male NPT port on one side and need to land a 3/4-16 JIC flare line on the other. is that what this bulkhead adapter is for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 4, 2025, 6:43 PM
Built for exactly that thread changeover, it has a 1/2-14 male NPT on one end and a 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, all in a straight inline bulkhead body.

Reckon this'll hold up alright outside? We use a bunch of stainless fittings 'cause of the fertilizer runoff.

316 stainless is a solid choice for resisting corrosion and chemical exposure, way better than carbon steel in situations like that.

Got a panel I need to run a hydraulic line through and the NPT side has to mate up with a 1/2-14 female port on the other end. This fitting work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 2:01 PM
the NPT end on this one is 1/2-14 male, so it'll thread right into a 1/2-14 female port without issue. The bulkhead configuration is exactly what you need for passing a line through a panel or wall. It's 2.34 inches overall, so account for that when you're figuring clearance on both sides of the panel.
