Question by: Norm G on Apr 24, 2025, 6:10 PM
what's the difference between the branch and the run on this tee fitting? trying to figure out which port connects where before I go putting it in the wrong spot
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 26, 2025, 6:28 AM
On a tee like this one, the run refers to the straight-through path, and the branch is the side outlet that splits off from it. Here the run is the 3/4-16 male JIC 37-degree flare side, so that's your main line connection. The 1/2-14 male NPT is the branch, meaning it taps off to the side. If you're routing a primary hydraulic line and need to pull a secondary connection off it, the NPT branch is where that secondary line ties in.

Will this tee work with stainless steel tubing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 2, 2025, 7:34 PM
This adapter is made from stainless steel, so it's suitable for use with stainless steel tubing in hydraulic systems. It's designed for durability and resistance to corrosion.
