Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/4-18 Male NPT To 1/4-18 Female NPT, 45 deg Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for directional changes in 1/4-18 NPT threaded hydraulic and fluid system connections, this Stainless Steel Adapter, 1/4-18 Male NPT To 1/4-18 Female NPT, 45 Deg Elbow from SSP Fittings Corp provides a compact, corrosion-resistant solution where a straight fitting won't accommodate the required routing angle. The 45-degree elbow configuration allows lines to be redirected without sharp bends, reducing stress on connected components.

Constructed from stainless steel, this pipe-to-pipe adapter is suited for use in demanding environments where moisture, chemical exposure, or temperature variation is a factor. With a male NPT inlet and female NPT outlet, both at the 1/4-18 thread standard, it connects inline with standard NPT-threaded ports and fittings. The fitting measures 1.05 inches in length, making it a compact choice for installations with limited clearance.

trying to swap out a straight fitting, is this one 1/4-18 npt on both ends or am i gonna be off a size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 4, 2025, 6:22 AM
Both connections are 1/4-18 NPT. One side is male NPT and the other side is female NPT, so it is meant to thread between a 1/4-18 female port and a 1/4-18 male fitting.
Question by: Glen C on Apr 24, 2025, 6:31 AM
fitting's only 1.05 inches long, will that be short enough to work in a tight spot where I ain't got much room to play with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 25, 2025, 3:03 PM
At just over an inch in total length, it's one of the more compact options you'll find for a 45-degree NPT elbow. That kind of clearance is exactly what this fitting was built around, so if space is the main concern, the length shouldn't be a problem in most close-quarters installations.
Question by: Daryl A on Nov 18, 2025, 10:00 AM
Will this fitting hold up okay if it gets some oil and grime on it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 1:07 PM
Being stainless steel, this adapter is well-suited for use in environments where moisture, chemicals, or temperature variations are present. It should hold up just fine with typical oil and grime exposure.
