trying to swap out a fitting on a -06 hose, is this one the straight female JIC swivel with 9/16-18 threads?

For a fit check, the key callouts on this part are 9/16-18 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end and -06 hose size on the other, in a straight configuration. It’s also a two-piece reusable fitting with a reduced bore.

This Aeroquip fitting's made with stainless steel, so it’s durable enough for demanding industrial applications where you're pushing it hard consistently.

fitting says reusable -- does that mean I can pull it apart and put it back on a different hose if I need to swap things around?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 7, 2025, 6:55 AM
that's the whole point of the reusable design. You can disassemble it and reinstall it on a new -06 hose without needing a press or any special tooling. No mandrel required either, so the swap-out process is pretty straightforward. Just make sure the hose you're moving it to is a 1 wire braid type and the right dash size, and you're good to go.
