Question by: Cody L on Oct 10, 2025, 2:56 PM
trying to replace a stainless 90 degree JIC swivel on my teflon hose. is this one the -04 size with the 7/16-20 female JIC?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 11, 2025, 8:13 PM
It matches a -04 Teflon hose and uses a 7/16-20 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel connection, with a 90 degree elbow body.
Question by: Lance W on Jun 26, 2025, 7:44 PM
How tight should I make the JIC fitting when putting this together? Don't want to strip it.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 28, 2025, 6:32 AM
It's important to get the JIC fitting snug to ensure a good seal, but over-tightening can definitely cause damage. A good rule of thumb is to tighten it by hand until it's snug, then use a wrench to turn it another 1/6 to 1/4 of a turn.
