Question by: Dale D on Mar 1, 2026, 11:32 AM
been looking for a nipple to tie into a 1-1/2 inch hose on a liquid transfer setup, this stainless steel one gonna hold up or is it more of a light-duty piece?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 3, 2026, 10:09 AM
For liquid transfer on suction and discharge lines, this fitting is well suited. The tubular stainless steel construction handles corrosion well, and the 1.50-inch ID hose barb lines up with standard 1-1/2 inch hose. Keep in mind the working pressure isn't a fixed number on this type of fitting. It shifts depending on the hose construction, how many clamps you're using, clamp placement, and what you're moving through it. Get those variables dialed in and it'll give you reliable, long-lasting service.
