Crafted for reliability the TRIDENT RUBBER LLC stainless steel T-bolt clamp ensures a strong and secure fit for hoses with 1-7/8 to 2-inch inner diameters and 2.28 to 2.59-inch outer diameters. This clamp features a 3/4-inch wide 316 stainless steel band paired with an 18-8 stainless steel T-bolt and lock nut with a nylon insert.

Designed to deliver superior clamping tension compared to worm gear clamps this T-bolt clamp is perfect for critical applications. The wide band design prevents hose extrusions while the rounded band edges protect delicate rubber or silicone hose materials from damage.

What size hose does this clamp work with? I've got some that are just under 2 inches on the inside.

It'll fit hoses with an inner diameter from 1-7/8 to 2 inches, and an outer diameter between 2.28 and 2.59 inches.

got a 2-inch ID hose on my boat and been fighting with worm gear clamps for years, would this t-bolt style actually hold better?

T-bolt clamps do provide greater clamping tension than worm gear clamps, and they do it with less installation torque. For a 2-inch ID hose, this one fits right in that range. The 3/4-inch wide band also helps spread the load evenly across the hose, which cuts down on the kind of creep and loosening you get with worm gear designs over time.
