Will this adapter hold up okay if I'm running hydraulic lines in a food processing plant? Lots of washdowns and whatnot.

For food and beverage processing applications, this zinc-plated steel adapter should provide a reliable connection. It's built for demanding industrial environments.
Question by: Travis W on Apr 22, 2025, 9:05 AM
adapter says it's for pressures thru 4 light spiral hose, does that mean it won't hold up on heavier spiral hose assemblies?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 24, 2025, 6:59 AM
Correct. The rated pressure range on this part is specifically for hoses up to and including 4 light spiral construction. Running it on heavier spiral hose configurations would push beyond what this adapter is rated for, so you'd want to match the fitting to the hose series you're actually using.
