Got a -06 hose line I'm trying to clean up with a tighter routing. Does the 45-degree elbow on this fitting actually help with that, or is it more of a minor angle change?

Forty-five degrees makes a real difference when you're working in tight quarters or trying to avoid a hard bend right off the hose end. With a -06 hose, that elbow lets you redirect the line at a manageable angle without kinking or stressing the hose near the crimp zone. It's a common go-to when straight fittings just don't give you enough clearance around brackets or other components.
