Just makin' sure, this here adapter will go from a M12 metric to a 7/16 JIC flare, right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 6, 2025, 7:00 AM
Yes sir, that's exactly what it does. It adapts from a M12 x 1.5 female metric 24 degree (DIN 3901/3902 1.Rh) to a 7/16-20 male JIC 37 degree flare, and it's a straight adapter.

got a hose end that’s metric M12 x 1.5 female with that 24 degree seat. Will this adapter get me over to a 7/16-20 JIC male?

Converts an M12 x 1.5 female Metric 24 degree (DIN 3901/3902, right-hand) connection to a 7/16-20 male JIC 37 degree flare, straight through.

fitting goes from metric to JIC? just want to make sure i got this right before i order
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 6:35 AM
That's what it does. One end is M12 x 1.5 female metric with a 24 degree seat per DIN 3901/3902, and the other end is 7/16-20 male JIC with a 37 degree flare. Straight configuration, no angle to it. Comes from Eaton Aeroquip's 15.163 series, catalog number C1AK70 if you need to cross-reference it anywhere.
