trying to replace an old tee, are all three ports on this one 1/2-14 female npt?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 12:59 PM
All three ends are female NPTF with 1/2-14 threads, and each end size is 0.5, so it is a straight 3 way tee in the same 1/2-14 female pipe thread on every port.
Question by: Carl H on Jan 4, 2026, 7:46 AM
need a tee with female npt on all three sides, is that what the 2090-8-8S is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 6, 2026, 6:56 AM
Function-wise, it’s a 2090 Series tee adapter with NPTF internal pipe threads on the connections. The “-8” callout in the description lines up with 1/2-14 female NPT, so it’s meant for tying three 1/2-14 female NPT ports together in a tee.
Question by: Hugh F on Mar 20, 2026, 8:24 PM
Is this tee fitting okay for hydraulic systems, or is it more for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 22, 2026, 6:30 AM
This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is suitable for most hydraulic systems, as well as grease and instrumentation applications.
Question by: Joyce M on Apr 5, 2025, 10:06 AM
these tee adapters got both ports as female NPT, right? just want to make sure before I order cause I've been burnt before getting the wrong fitting
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2025, 6:49 AM
Both branch ports and the run port are all female NPT threads, sized at 1/2-14. That's a standard 1/2-inch NPT thread count, so any male NPT fitting you're threading in needs to match that spec. All three connections are internal pipe thread, so plan accordingly when pulling your fittings together.
