i’ve got a port that’s 3/8-18 female npt, and my hose end is 3/4-16 jic. is this the right straight adapter to marry those up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 6:57 AM
Function-wise, it’s a straight steel adapter that gives you a 3/8-18 female NPTF internal pipe connection on one side and a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on the other, so it’s meant for exactly that NPTF to SAE 37 degree flare swivel hookup.

Got a fitting that's 3/8-18 NPT on one end and need to tie into a 3/4-16 JIC line on the other. this the right part for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 13, 2026, 8:07 AM
That's exactly what this adapter handles. One end accepts a 3/8-18 female NPT connection and the other swivels onto a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare. The swivel on the JIC side makes alignment a lot easier during installation, especially in tighter hydraulic connections runs where you can't always rotate the fitting freely.
