i got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, is this the one that turns it 45 degrees and still stays JIC on both sides?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 9:57 PM
For a 45 degree change in direction while staying on SAE 37 degree (JIC) flare connections, this adapter fits that job. It has a 9/16-18 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end and a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other.

Got a 45-degree elbow fitting I'm trying to match up, this the one with female JIC on one end and male JIC on the other, both 9/16-18 thread?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 30, 2025, 3:00 PM
That's what you've got here. Both ends are 9/16-18 thread with a 37-degree flare seat, female swivel on one side and male on the other, with a 45-degree bend between them. The swivel on the female end gives you some rotational wiggle room during installation, which makes getting a clean connection a fair bit easier when you're working in a tight spot.
